About Me

I have twenty years’ experience editing and am a member of Editors Canada and the Indexing Society of Canada.

My training includes courses in the publishing program at Ryerson University (where I was nominated for the Rosemary Shipton Award for Excellence in Book Editing) and professional development through Editors Canada in all aspects of editing. Workshops in technology and best practices keep my skills current.

I have a graduate degree in South Asian Studies and also did graduate work in English literature.

Specializations in non-fiction include scholarly books in the humanities, art (Canadian artists in particular), and websites, but I welcome a range of different subject areas, genres, and clients.
